Suitcases — 4 wheels 148 items

Suitcases on four wheels have become the real stars of the luggage world. Their popularity has grown so much in recent years that about 90% of buyers choose them. And no wonder! The convenience of transporting these models is simply undeniable.

This luggage is incredibly maneuverable. It's easy to roll alongside you, barely feeling its weight. And the ability to turn 360 degrees makes it a true master of smooth movement.

In today's world, where roads are getting better, airports are equipped with moving walkways, and floors are more and more often perfectly smooth, four-wheel suitcases are the obvious choice for most travelers.

How to choose a four-wheel suitcase

It may seem that everything is clear with 4-wheel suitcases, but there are nuances worth considering:

● Wheels with polymer bushings. Have you noticed that manufacturers have stopped using the usual bearings? It's all about reducing weight. Bushings made of super-hard polymer are much lighter and are not afraid of friction or heat. Even if a wheel suddenly starts to squeak, a drop of silicone lubricant is enough to keep it going.

● Double wheels. This is especially relevant for those looking for maximum durability. Larger-diameter wheels with a double design wear out more slowly thanks to the larger contact area with the surface.

● Rubber rim. Many models are equipped with soft rims that provide a smooth and quiet ride on any surface.

Important: to extend the life of your suitcase, it is recommended to roll it on all four wheels at the same time. This will help avoid misalignment and premature wear of individual wheels.

2-wheel vs. 4-wheel suitcase: is there a difference?

The dimensions of these suitcases are similar, but there are small differences:

● Two-wheel models have slightly more capacity thanks to their recessed wheels.

● Four-wheel suitcases have more clearance between the bottom and the floor, which makes them more stable.

But the main advantage of 4 wheels is, of course, convenience. Just roll the suitcase beside you without straining your hands, and enjoy the comfort even on long walks.
